Find Out What Is Being Said in Real Time

Do you want to find out what is being said in real time about you, your website, product or service? Finding a discussion that happened recently and not two years ago is often quite difficult from the regular search engine results. Thanks to a new breed of Alexa type Web 2.0 websites this is no longer the case.

One of these new Web 2.0 websites is called URLfan and it is useful to find out what people are talking about in real time. URLfan is a website that allows you to find the current buzz in the blogosphere and discover what’s being talked about and referenced.

To use URLfan you enter a URL into the search box to find out what is being said about your website or any you’re interested in researching.

To get this information about what bloggers are talking about on the internet, URLfan analyzes RSS feeds and parses information from all over the internet. Using this information they determine which sites are receiving the most attention and are the most popular.

This discussion search engine is not based on the amount of traffic the site receives, instead it compiles the conversations being posted and ranks the sites based on the amount of real time discussions.

Now you can see what is being said online before the conversation is finished.

Oh, I almost forgot to add they also have a cool top 100 ranked sites based on the amount of incoming RSS feeds. It’s a pretty cool buzz indicator to see what bloggers are referencing.
