Get a HeatMap To See Where People Click

I’m currently using free heat maps to improve the sales copy on several of my ebook pages. Normal website tracking sites are usually kind of dull but heat maps are fun. With heat maps you get to see the hotspots where people are clicking on your website. Once you know what people are looking for you can fine tune your page to better reflect the desires of your visitors.

Some of the benefits of heat maps are finding out which Adsense positioning works the best. This ones a real no brainer. Adsense doesn’t give you any indication which specific ads are working unless you set up a different channel for each ad on your page. With heat maps you can determine which positioning works best and change you Adsense blocks to give you maximum profits.

Another great thing about heat maps is they allow you to track different versions of a sales page. I can see which pages result in a better click through to my payment button. I can also find out which page designs results in the visitor taking further action.

When you put it all together heat maps are a valuable tool for anyone who wants to know what’s hot and what’s not on your pages. Then make some small changes to monitor the results. For a free heat map visit www.crazyegg.com/
