How to Use Squidoo

Squidoo is a web 2.0 type website created by the famous viral marketing guru Seth Godin. Squidoo’s purpose is to put the power of recommendation in the hands of people like you and me. Similar to a blog platform Squidoo’s a great place to post reviews, personal thoughts and make money from them.

To start posting to Squidoo you need to create a SquidLens or also known as just a lens. You can start your squidoo lens on any topic you want. Once you’ve signed up, chosen a name for your page and added content, you click publish to get it live.

Once your page is live you’ll make money from a co-opt revenue sharing program with Squidoo. This means whenever someone clicks on an ad from your Squidoo page you’ll split the profits with the website.

Squidoo pages are great fro promoting your own products or creating lens for popular affiliate products you can promote. Check out the marketplace at Clickbank to use with your Squidoo pages for some great ideas. Another popular affiliate site you can use with Squidoo is Paydotcom.
